Us census -----> german immigrants?

There aren't 51 million Americans of German descent that's bullshit. On Wikipedia they say that they made a survey/poll and asked who is of German descend and apparently 51 million claim to be German. I think these 51 million Americans should prove that they are German before they publish any lies like that on wikipedia.
