My daughter is scared for the tetanus shot! Advice?

My daughter is getting her 7th grade tetanus shot today and she is very scared. She has always been afraid of needles. I told her it is not bad and it doesn't hurt. But honestly, I don't remember anything called a tetanus shot. She says all her friends who have gotten their 7th grade shots say how bad it is. What should I tell her? I know she won't cry at the doctor's office or anything. Has anyone had a tetanus shot and remember it?? Thank you for you help!
